Still in her twenties, Brandi Disterheft
is one of hottest bassist in Canadian jazz and has been taking the jazz world by storm since winning the 2008 JUNO for Traditional Jazz Album of the Year for her premiere disc,
"DEBUT". It is not only her swinging bass playing that is making people
sit up and take notice, but also her innovative writing style using lively grooves with influences from Mingus to Bjork.

Jonathan Stewart (tenor sax)
Recipient of the Prix Étoiles Galaxie de Radio-Canada (2007) for the best composition
played at the Montreal Jazz Festival, pianist and composer Marianne Trudel has performed internationally in various settings,
including solo piano recitals, trios, quintet and large ensemble for which she writes and arranges all of the music.
Kingston’s own Jonathan Stewart is a graduate of the McGill University
jazz program as well as an attendee of the Workshop for Jazz and Creative Music at the Banff Centre for the Arts, Jonathan
is known for his soulful tenor sax playing. He had shared the stage with Chucho Valdes, Kenny Wheeler, Don Thompson, and John
MacLeod.

late night sessions Vanessa Rodrigues is one of
Canada's premier young jazz organists. Based
in Montreal, she appears frequently with her own groups and
as a side musician at Canadian jazz venues and festivals, and has toured overseas in Europe
and Japan.
